Dry blasting is a technique that allows for fast, effective cleaning of the most contaminated surfaces. Hard grains of abrasive material, or shot, are shot under high pressure, thus removing all dirt. In this way you can immediately get rid of old coatings, varnishes, as well as traces of corrosion. Wet blasting, on the other hand, is a method in which the abrasive is mixed with water, and only then hits the surface to be cleaned. This technique is ideal for finishing or more delicate plastics, as it is less aggressive.
