Shot grains work mechanically to remove substances that have settled on the surface. This helps restore cleanliness and prepare the surface for further processing or coating application.
The removal of contaminants and the creation of a porous surface allows better adhesion of new coatings or joints, which translates into higher durability and quality of the completed work.
Blasting can also lead to surface strengthening by reducing internal tensions and removing micro-defects.
Blasting allows precise control of process parameters. This allows the process to be tailored to specific surface requirements and achieve the desired results.
Blasting is a relatively fast process. With automation and advanced equipment, shotblasting can be done on a larger scale, speeding up production and reducing processing time.
During shot blasting, shot grains, which can be in the form of metal balls, plastic pellets or sand grains, are introduced into a special blasting chamber under high pressure. The jet of grains is then directed at the surface in question, effectively eliminating any impurities and giving it the desired appearance. The blasting process is used to prepare the surface before welding, machining, painting, galvanizing and other techniques for producing metal parts.
Shotblasting is a process that allows you to prepare a variety of products for further processing - the cleaned material can be subjected to welding, laser cutting or powder coating, for example. Therefore, it is a guarantee of quality, as well as the durability of the material, as it allows quick and efficient removal of dirt and corrosion. As a result, components subjected to professional shot blasting will perform impeccably for a long time, minimizing the risk of costly failures of equipment or vehicles whose construction they may contribute to. Importantly, the process is used to treat a wide variety of materials, from aluminum and steel to concrete and wood.
In our company, shot blasting is carried out using professional machines that ensure high work efficiency and excellent precision. Thanks to this, we are able to carry out large-scale orders, providing our customers with the highest quality plastics, perfectly prepared for further processing. In doing so, we use two methods of shot blasting. In the first case, the process is carried out using only shot blasting, while in the second, the abrasive is combined with water to be used for cleaning surfaces of aluminum, steel, wood or other material.
Dry blasting is a technique that allows for fast, effective cleaning of the most contaminated surfaces. Hard grains of abrasive material, or shot, are shot under high pressure, thus removing all dirt. In this way you can immediately get rid of old coatings, varnishes, as well as traces of corrosion. Wet blasting, on the other hand, is a method in which the abrasive is mixed with water, and only then hits the surface to be cleaned. This technique is ideal for finishing or more delicate plastics, as it is less aggressive.
All of you who are interested in cooperating in the blasting of steel, aluminum, concrete or parts made of other materials are welcome to contact us!
